Food Commons Projects

We are a farm in Alexandra, and we sell our summer crops to our community. We use rainwater at the farm now, but in winter we can't plant since there is no rain (we have a borehole, but are without electricity). We lack support from the government. We have used all our savings and are now waiting for funding that we have applied for. In the meantime, we keep farming to feed the nation and save money to install electricity for the water pump so that we can irrigate our crops.
