Food Commons Projects

We have a 1 hectare piece of land that we use to farm crops and herbs. It is run by a cooperative of 6 founding members and approximately 15 volunteers that alternate. We use the garden to educate our youth on self-sustainability and self-worth and healthy eating as well as therapy. We grow a variety of crops from corn, tomatoes, beetroot, spinach, onions, chilli, green peppers, and a variety of herbs.
