THE TARA ROKPA CENTRE'S PERMACULTURE TRAINING SITE WORKS WITH NATURE AND SHARES WITH PEOPLE IN AN ATTEMPT TO DEVELOP A MORE SUSTAINABLE AND ABUNDANT FUTURE
WHO WE ARE
This training project is the environmental wing of the Tara Rokpa Centre. We are situated near Groot Marico in the North West Province of South Africa.
We are developing an environmental conservation, education and sustainability centre for the local community but we will become an appropriate development model for the North West and South Africa as a whole.
The permaculture training project aspires to preserve and extend natural environmental systems through the principles of permaculture, agroforestry and natural farming models. These integrate land, resources, people and the environment through mutually beneficial synergies.
